En Route

Katie and I arrived in Winooski late last night after about 5 hours of driving! We picked up Sammy, Jim, and Folsom in Ludlow so Sammy could leave his car at the finish. We then wound our way up route 7 (which was significantly shorter than heading way west to go on route 89 and drive at 65.)to arrive in the Burlington Area, dropping the guys off and heading over to Chippy's house! Wow, it was about a 5 hour drive....

We are about to head for the start! Go Saints!

Who are the Lady Saints Alumni?

Welcome to our team's blog! We are mostly St. Lawrence Graduates, although two of our lovely members are friends of ours who were kind enough to fill in and complete our Team! So who are we? Our first runner is Katie, she is a co-worker of mine and a good running partner and friend! She knows how to cover distance and we welcome her as an honorary member of the SLU family! Our next runner is Amy (class of '04). Amy brings a lot of wonderful energy to the team, and will be taking on the most challenging legs of the course! Our next runner is Karen (class of '02) who ran with me during my entire college career! It's great to get to run with her again:)! Abbey, is a our next runner. She is our second honorary SLU Alumni runner! We are so happy that she agreed to jump into the race so last minute! It saves the day. Welcome! Tora(class of '05) is our 5th runner, she too is brings wonderful energy to the team and will be taking on some tough terrain! And then there is me, AM (class of '02). It is great to be running with so many talented women again! During the race we will try to keep you all up-to-date as to how we are doing. Please excuse us, in case we aren't tech savvy enough to post during the race! Good luck to all the 100-on-100 participants, especially all those running on SLU teams! GO Saints!
